SLINGSHOT, the music, electronic art, tech, film and comedy festival takes over downtown Athens, Georgia March 26-28, 2015. Spread over 5 city blocks and dozens of venues, SLINGSHOT spotlights international, national, and local acts on stage, boundary pushing artworks throughout the urban environment, and tech talks with leading innovators. SLINGSHOT also hosts a dedicated comedy night and film screenings.
This year over 60 acts include a range of electronic, pop and rock acts such as: a DJ set by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and Win Butler of Arcade Fire, Jamie XX, Nosaj Thing, Reptar, Omar Souleyman, Glenn Kotche of Wilco, Japan Nite! (5 acts from Japan) and many many more.
