eco*art*lab, a pop-up environmental art gallery and learning space in Athens, presents “Climate Change: Conveying Realities.” The exhibition opens on March 23, and will be on display through April 27. The show features over twenty visual, sound, and video artists from all over the US and beyond. Artists include Aviva Rahmani (NY), Christopher Hodges (Chicago, IL), June Julian (NYU art professor), Brendan Baylor (Iowa), Jane Garver (Atlanta, GA), Hortense Le Calvez (Greece), Benjamin Aron (Boston), and Adam Forrester (Athens, GA).
The show is curated by Chris Cuomo, Professor of Philosophy and Women’s Studies, and an internationally recognized scholar working on the social, political, and ethical dimensions of climate change. Supported in part by an ICE Project Grant.
