The UGA Graduate Student Association presents the 15th Annual Interdisciplinary Research Conference with workshops, presentations, art dialogues, and speakers celebrating graduate student research at UGA that crosses traditional disciplinary divides.
Our keynote speaker is Dr. Meredith Welch-Devine, Associate Director of the Center for Integrative Conservation Research (CICR) and Director of Interdisciplinary Graduate Studies at the UGA Graduate School. Welcome remarks will be given by Mark Callahan, Artistic Director of Ideas for Creative Exploration (ICE).

Presentations will be given by graduate students from many departments and schools on campus, whose work addresses one of this year’s seven subject areas:
Exploring Global Issues
Role of Technology and Media in Research
Intersecting the Social Science and the Hard Science
Policy, Theory, and Practice
Community, Diversity, and Social Justice
Creativity and Collaboration
Sustainability: Environment, Economy, & Society
Participate in professional development workshops in areas such as publishing, grant writing, and feedback.
Or engage in art dialogues, where artists share their work as well as their work process.
