“Movement as Foundation: Dance + Community in Takoma Park, Maryland”
Landscape Architecture graduate student Annette Griffin will discuss her recent participation in the performance project New Hampshire Ave: This Is a Place To…, an output of modern, intergenerational dance company’s years of engagement efforts within a DC suburb. Conversation topics will include human migration, connection to the unknowable stranger, and dance as a foundational element in the experience of community.
