ICE-Vision continues with Film Studies major Daniel LoPilato’s weekly selections of eclectic, idiosyncratic, psychotronic, or otherwise eccentric excursions into world cinema.

The outsider-animation master Ralph Bakshi mixes live action footage, newsreel, and vibrant animation in this excavation of four generations of American music. Bakshi, whose animated features regularly sparked controversy for their adult themes and approach to the cartoon, gives us something like the drug-blitzed Altamont music festival as seen through the eyes of R. Crumb.
